Cheltenham Christmas Tour 15th to 17th December 2010

I arrived in Cheltenham on Wednesday afternoon with not one booking for that day.  The apartment was nice with a lovely kitchen and lounge area and seemed to be fully equipt.  However, it didn't take long to start noticing where corners had been cut, which is such a shame, as I would have loved to use this place again, but really don't feel it is good enough.

What has led me to this decision.  In all there are 3 remote controls for the television.  One turns it on, another changes channel and another allows you to watch DVDs.  You can change the volume with any of the remotes, but try and change channel with the remote control and you're left with a grey fuzz and I spent ages trying to work out how I could get a picture again, until I final flipped and called the landlord.  I also found that the free wifi was not working.  I had put in the code and could see a good strong signal, but it just wouldn't let me use it.  Again I had to phone up, which I did on the second day and I was told to turn the internet off and on again.  Hooray! it worked, for a few hours and then went back to it's old habits.  I'm now attached via the ethernet, so I can't use it in the bedroom, sigh!

Next it was getting cold and all the heating was turned off.  It took me until the third day to work out what the problem was and like all moments of inspiration it happened while I was sat on the toilet.  The radiator in there was right next to me and I noticed unlike the other radiators it had a little rubber press button, which I duly pressed and like magic an orange light came on and heat came out.  I proceeded to try and press down the same slot area on all the heaters with the end of a spoon, but only the one in my bedroom would work.  Still it was progress!
Most importantly would be the beds.  The bed in my room was a very low continental wooden bed.  On the first evening I was lucky enough to get a booking and mid fun we heard a bang and felt a slump.  Of course being rather busy, we didn't stop to check it straight away, but afterwards I pulled up the mattress to find that the slats had all fallen through and the metal spine through the centre had come off it's screws which were on the floor.  I also noticed they had used masking tape to try and keep the slats in place along the centre.  Basically the foundation of the bed was shot and it was never going to take any kind of weight, let alone the weight of one person on top of another getting jiggidy.

I rang the landlord up and asked if it was possible to be moved, but apparently every room was taken and he agreed to come over and have a look, which is literally what he did.  He didn't think to bring a tool kit with him.  He then said he would come and sort it out after work around 5pm the next day.  Oh great!  I had 5 bookings for Thursday!

Thursday did not go quite to plan, as you can imagine.  Finally I called them up and told them not to worry until after I have gone, although I did query about the heating at this point, which is when I was being told to press the button, "What button?" I kept asking, to which I was just being told 'the button!'.  I couldn't take it any more and just said I would sort it out.

I'm reliably told that the other bed, which is of your more conventional type, was not much better.  It is apparently lumpy and squeaks!  I'm not sure about you, but personally I find squeaking to be terribly off putting.

Oh I just remembered another thing that was rather odd and I would say a terrible misjudgement.  Who in their right mind puts a fire alarm two feet away from the oven?  The slightest hint of heat coming from the oven and it started to beep like mad.  Even after I turned the oven off it continued to beep.  How frustrating is that?  Tonight I decided to use the microwave, as I wasn't going through that again.

Thankfully having ironed out all the little problems of the apartment, I was able to work a reasonably stress free day today and had 3 more visits.

I have to say that the highlight of this tour has to be having met an older gentleman yesterday who was kind enough to offer me a massage.  It is the first time anyone has given me one in the capacity as Escort and if I'm honest, the first one I have had in many years.  It was not only erotic, but blissfull and momentarily felt like I was being spoilt, instead of doing the spoiling (which I am happy to do), but all the same it was something I will remember for a very long time.

My last point of thought is a little less cheery.  There is one gentleman I have met twice before who lives this way.  He is someone that I enjoyed meeting and the last time I came here he missed me, as he did not see I was here in time.  Bearing this in mind I sent him a text, just to let him know I was back.  I tried to keep it discrete and not too obvious of who I was in case it got into the wrong hands.  The text came back, "who is this" I replied with my profile name and the text back said, 'No longer interested, take me off your list'.

I suppose I'm supposed to just think, oh well never mind, but I couldn't help getting upset that he thought I was mailshotting him.  He was the only person I contacted, because he was the only one that showed regret in missing me last time.  I'm not a cut throat business woman who harrasses people in to booking her.  Yes I advertise where I can, but usually people come back to me because they want to.  I have a really bad memory myself, so thought I was being helpfull.  Anyway, that was the one and only thing that upset me, so I guess I didn't do too badly.  The downside of being an Escort, is it's disposable nature and like all things that can be bought or sold, you can grow tired of it and move on.  As I'm often being told.  I mustn't take it personally.

I will be back in Cheltenham again the two days before Christmas, but using a hotel room and not an apartment.  Hopefully the few people I was not able to see this time, will be able to see me then.  To all those I met over the last few days, thank you for making my visit a pleasant one and for feeding my dirty habit lol (You know what I mean).  Back to watching the porn for a few days now and hopefully some respite from it on Monday if the weather doesn't stop me from going to Oxford.

  1. I have given an escort a massage before, and tend to keep a bottle of massage oil with me when I go for an appointment.
